It was a lot of fun being in New York City during the holiday season. We enjoyed seeing all of the holiday decorations around the city and also check out several holiday markets. We really loved the one down at Bryant Park. There were lots of cool things to shop for and lots of delicious food to eat! I did a process video for this and you can see the video at the end of this post.
The inspiration for this layout came from this layout from Liz Qualman I found on Pinterest.
The sketch was converted from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" and I modified the photo sizes to work with the new layout size. The papers are from the Season of Green and Gold DSP. I added an extra background layer with some additional Early Espresso cardstock and did some faux-stitching on this layer using a white gel pen and ruler. The small label bracket was die cut using the Something Fancy dies and the journaling circle was die cut using the Stylish Shapes dies. The title was die cut using the Alphabet A-la-Mode die cuts. I added some die cut branches and gold dots to embellish the layout.

We always try to check out new restaurants when we go into New York City but do have a few favorites we try to get back to whenever we are in the city. One of these is Gyu-Kaku which is a Japanese barbeque place. We love cooking the meal and enjoying the Yuzu there! It is always delicious!

The sketch was converted from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" and I modified the photo sizes to work with the new layout size. I die cut some leaves from the Graceful Greenery Vellum using the Golden Greenery Dies. I also stamped some branches and the bells using the Golden Greenery Stamp set. The title was die cut using an alphabet die set from my stash. I added some Gold dots to embellish the layout.

One of the things we enjoyed during our weekend in New York City was checking out all of the holiday decorations throughout the city. We started at Rockefeller Center and walked along 5th Avenue enjoying the sights and the ways that the stores were all decorated for the season. Definitely magical!
