Had fun creating this layout during a recent Scrapbook with me. This layout is part of my Monthly Recap series of layouts. I challenged myself to use some papers from my stash as well as use smaller than 12"x12" paper for this. I pulled some retired Stampin' Up Designer Series Papers for this and love how it came out. I did a process video for this to show how you can use the smaller papers on a larger layout for the background. You can see the video at the end of this post.
The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch I found on Pinterest.
I converted this sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" as that is the layout size I have been working in. I changed the photo sizes to work with the new layout size. The woodgrain background is done with 4 pieces of 6"x6" DSP and the lines in the grain line up to disguise the seems. The other papers came from a retired DSP stack. I put Dimensionals under the ends of the banner elements and the title to add some dimension to the layout. The enamel dots came from my stash. The title was cut on my Cricut and uses the same font as the other monthly recap layouts I have done for 2024.
