July 2024 Monthly Recap Layout

I finished this layout during last Monday's Scrapbook with me event and love the simplicity of the papers and embellishments in it. I used up some of the Gnomes for Summer collection paper for this layout. I love the colors and patterns in this collection.

The inspiration for this layout came from this layout I found on Pinterest. I usually work with sketches but sometimes I find a layout I like and wish to copy.

I converted the 12" x 12' 2-page layout to an 8 1/2" x 11" 2-page layout. I adjusted the paper sizing, number of photos, and photo sizing to work with the new layout size. The title was cut using my Cricut. The butterflies and bursts come from my stash.

RSC Back to School Retreat Layout

Another recent Scrapbook with me completed layout. I dug into my stash of retired Stampin' Up DSP for this layout from the recent Ready, Set, Crop Back to School Retreat weekend. For the past several years I have usually worked these retreat weekends as a vendor so it was a lot of fun to be an actual scrapbooker at this weekend! I got to spend some time with good friends and make some new ones!

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch I found on Pinterest.

I converted the sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" and changed the photo sizes to work with this layout size. The title was die cut using a set from my stash. I added some faux-stitching to the tops of the banner strips and some flowers and buttons from my stash to complete the layout.

Ice Cream Layout

Been a little crazy around here recently so I have not had time to share my completed layouts from my recent Scrapbook with me events. I am working today on catching up on those. I did this layout recently using a challenge pack of papers and embellishments I received at the Ready, Set, Crop Back to School retreat weekend. They do a "Queen of the Crop" challenge and even though I did not create this layout during that weekend I knew as soon as I saw the kit what layout I would use it for.

Meghan has been coming home with work with some great recipes for us to try and these were no exception - we made homemade French Vanilla ice cream, whipped cream with Bourbon, and roasted strawberries. YUMMY!

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch I found on Pinterest.

The sketch was already in an 8 1/2" x 11" format which worked perfect for my current album size. I changed the sizes of the photos to be 3" x 4" and added an additional mat layer to work with the papers I was given in the challenge. I used a piece of the border punch piece given as an embellishment along with the ice cream cone. I opted to leave a title off of this layout and use the title area for journaling.

June 2024 Monthly Recap Layout

As soon as I looked over the photos I chose for this Monthly Recap Layout and the sketch I had picked for Wednesday's Scrapbook with me event I knew I wanted to work with the papers from the Painted Petals July 2024 Paper Pumpkin kit! I had looked at the papers and embellishments when I received the kit and had se it aside to work with in a scrapbook layout instead of cards.

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from the Create e-Magazine from Scrapbook Generation.

I converted the sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" and changed the photo sizes to work with the new layout size. I also changed up the number of squares of patterned paper on each page but kept the sizing the same. The title was cut with my Cricut.

I used some of the die cut pieces from the Paper Pumpkin kit to embellish the layout and add dimension. Each floral piece was originally inside a frame which I fussy-cut it away from and then used Dimensionals to place it directly over the matching printed square.

I love how this whole layout came out!

May 2024 Monthly Recap Layout

Finally getting caught up this week on some of my Monthly Recap Layout series. I completed this layout during Monday's Scrapbook with me event and used up some retired Stampin' Up double-sided patterned paper. I loved working with the patterns from this collection.

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Even More Scrapping. You can see this sketch along with others here.

I converted the sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11".  I resized the photos to work with the new layout size. The title was cut using my Cricut and I added an offset to add some more dimension to it. I added some pearls from my stash to finish the layout.

2024-2026 In Color 4 Sheet Wonder Cardmaking Workshop

Excited to share with you my next 4 Sheet Wonder Cardmaking Workshop featuring Stampin' Up products. I had a lot of fun creating this workshop using the 2024-2026 In Color 6"x6" double-sided patterned paper. I was inspired by some of the monochromatic cards I have seen on Pinterest recently and wanted to try my hand at creating a workshop with this feel to it.

The In Color 6"x6" double-sided paper comes with 4 patterns for each color from the suite so I chose to use 1 sheet featuring each pattern. The workshop creates 10 cards from the 4 6"x6" sheets plus 12 sheets of cardstock (includes using cardstock for the card bases). As always I am sharing the cutting diagram for the patterned paper here with you. The cardstock cutting diagrams and card sketches are available with purchase of the workshop digital files.

These are the cutting diagram for the patterned paper. I followed the same cutting diagram for each of the 4 sheets.

These are the 10 card designs you will be able to create with this workshop.

If you are interested in creating this workshop for yourself or with your customers, there are 4 ways to get the files:

1. Place a $35 or more purchase from my Stampin' Up website (before taxes and shipping). You must email me with the name of the workshop files you wish to receive.

2. Purchase the workshop digital files directly (no qualifying website purchase needed). The files are $11.50 USD. Follow the "Buy It Now" link at the bottom of this post.

3. Join my Stampin' Up team, all team members have access to my workshop files FREE.

Other demonstrators are also welcome to order these files in support of their own business. You can use these files to host your own events as long as you follow the terms and conditions listed in the Demonstrator Release included in the  workshop files.

Here is what you will receive with the workshop files:
  • Welcome Page
  • Cutting Guide with directions for cutting the papers needed
  • Card Guide diagrams and color photos of the completed cards
  • Demonstrator Release
  • Social Media image for you to use in promoting the workshop for your customers

I hope you enjoy creating these cards just as much as I did creating them!

Cheers Layout

Had a great time at my 40th (well actually 41st) high school reunion recently. It was great to get together with my friends and classmates. I finished this layout during a recent Scrapbook with me using up some retired Close To My Heart patterned paper. .

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Scrap Much. You can see this sketch along with others here.

I converted the sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11". I changed the size of the photos along with the number of photos to work with the new layout size. The chevrons were cut using a punch from my stash. The title was cut on my Cricut. I added some glitter "x"s from my stash to embellish the layout.
