Food Truck Festival Layout

Dug into my stash of Close To My Heart paper for this layout. Mike, Meghan and I went to a recent Food Truck Festival at Wachusett Mtn. We all tried to find some new and different foods to try from the various trucks that were there. It was a beautiful day and fun to be at the mountain.

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Brenda Ragsdale. You can see this sketch along with others here.

 

I converted the sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11". I changed the photo size along with the number of photos to work with the new layout size. The paper is from the retired Veranda collection from Close To My Heart. The title is a combination of die cut letters and small block letter stickers from my stash.

Girl's Night Out Layout

Mike had a recent work dinner so Meghan, Nicole and I decided to have dinner out at our favorite local sushi restaurant - Yama Zakura. We enjoyed sitting at the sushi bar talking with the owner and enjoying our dinner. I pulled out some scraps of the Wildly Flowering DSP for this layout

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Creative Scrapbooker.

 

I converted the sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" and changed the sizing of the photos to work with the layout size.  I also changed the photo orientation from portrait to landscape to work with the pictures I had. The title was cut on my Cricut and the flower embellishments were stamped with the Wildflower Designs stamp set using Misty Moonlight, Moody Mauve and Early Espresso ink. I added some Linen Thread and Neutral Sequins to finish off the layout.

Night at the Pops Layout

I had fun working on this layout from a recent Boston Pops concert Mike and I went to. It took a bit of thinking and looking through my stash before picking out this retired DSP paper from Stampin' Up to work with. I decided to stick with black and white patterns for the layout. I added color using cardstock in colors that worked with the photos.

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Creative Scrapbooker.

 

I converted the sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" and changed the sizing of the photos to work with the layout size.  The title is a combination of die cuts using a set from my stash along with some small block letter stickers. I added some twine from my stash to the tags to embellish the layout.

Happiness Layout

So excited to share this layout! I was able to surprise my friend Patty recently and spend the weekend scrapbooking with her and another friend, Liz. It was such a wonderful weekend at a retreat location we had not been to since before the pandemic. I knew I wanted to use the Unbounded Beauty DSP from Stampin' Up for this layout and love how it came out!

I converted the sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11". I changed the photo sizes and number of photos to work with the new layout size. I stuck with a white background to work with the beautiful colors in this paper. I double matted the photos to help them stick out from the patterned paper. The title was cut with my Cricut and I added some miscellaneous embellishments from my stash to complete the layout.

Relax Layout

This was a fun layout to work on. We recently got some new outdoor furniture for our deck and I was, finally, able to setup a nice outdoor space. I used up some of my To Market DSP from Stampin' Up for this layout.

I converted the sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" and changed the photo size to work with the new layout size. The hexagon shapes and title were die cut using a set from my stash.

Proud Layout

I had fun creating this layout during a recent Scrapbook with me. My older daughter, Meghan, was asked to participate in an art show by our town's Cultural Council recently. All of the artists worked with chairs donated by our senior center - either rocking chairs or adirondack chairs. The theme was "Flowerful Chairs" and Meghan did such a wonderful job decorating the chair they chose. I am so impressed with the effort they put into this and how it came out. I am even prouder that their chair was chosen to be one of the two on permanent display at our town common.

I converted the sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" and changed the photo sizes to work with the new layout size. I substituted a journal box for 1 of the photos. The paper and embellishments are all from my stash. The title was die cut using a set from my stash as well.
