The next layout from our Portland Maine weekend is from the Portland Museum of Art. It seems like no matter where we travel to Meghan always wants to visit the local art museums - which I love! This museum was really fun to check out. I especially liked the exhibit of Jeremy Fry's work entitled Woven. I am continuing to use the Lake Life collection for the layouts from this trip.
The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Close To My Heart.
I converted the sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11". I also changed it from a 2-page sketch into a 1-page layout with just using the right-hand side of the sketch. I added extra photos by substituting smaller ones and changed the orientation of one to landscape from portrait. The title is die cut using a die from my stash and I added a shadow layer to the title to make it stand out. The embellishments come from the sticker sheet from the Lake Life collection along with some from my stash.
