Spent last weekend up in Portland, Maine with Mike and Meghan. Had not been up there since the girls were little so this was a really fun weekend. Could not wait to start scrapbooking the memories from this long weekend! Did this layout during Monday's Scrapbook with me using the paper from the Lake Life Collection from Close To My Heart released through Stampin' Up.
The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Close To My Heart.
I converted the sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11". I also decided to just work with the left-hand side of the sketch for this title page layout. I changed the orientation of the photo from portrait to landscape and moved the title block down to work with this. The title was cut on my Cricut. I added some embellishments from my stash to complete the layout.
