UnPlug Layout

Mike and I got a chance to see Theory of a Deadman in concert recently. They did an "unplugged" tour with Cory Marks and Escape the Fate as opening acts. The concert was at the House of Blues in Boston. I love going to concerts there as the acoustics are great! I used some Country Woods DSP to keep the background "basic" and the focus on the photos.

The inspiration for this layout came from this layout from Vanessa Waller. You can see this sketch and others here.

The sketch was converted from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" and I modified the photo sizes to work with the new layout size. I used a border punch from my stash along with a letter die. I added some Basic Grey & Smok\y Slate Pearls along with some other elements from my stash to embellish the layout. I added some faux-stitching using a white gel pen.

Halloween Memories Layout

Had fun creating this layout during a recent Scrapbook with me. With the kids being in their 20s now there are not may opportunities for the typically Halloween activities and pictures. This year both Meghan and Nicole did some Halloween activities with their friends so I was lucky to get pictures of them dressed up. I used the Halloween Memories collection from Stampin' Up.

The inspiration for this layout came from this layout from Rochelle Spears. You can see this sketch and others here.

The sketch was converted from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" and I modified the photo size and number of photos to work with the new layout size. All of the elements in this layout including the title came from the Halloween Memories collection. I used a white gel pen for the journaling.

Autumn to Remember Scrapbook Workshop

This Autumn to Remember Scrapbook Workshop is the companion workshop to the Autumn to Remember Card Workshop I have already shared. Both workshops are part of my Autumn to Remember Craft Your Choice Workshops.

These Craft Your Choice workshops are meant to help you stretch your paper crafting supplies by creating a set of cards and several scrapbook layouts with 1 package of Double-Sided Designer Series paper. Using this paper along with coordinating cardstock, the stamp and die set(s), and embellishments that are part of the Suite of products you will have options to your crafting!

At the bottom of this post you will find a link to purchase the digital files for the workshop, as well as a supply list for what you will need to complete these layouts.

This scrapbook workshop helps you make 3 2-page layouts that are perfect for the memories of this season. These layouts use the same stamp set and dies as the card workshop and the remainder of the DSP from making the cards.

October 2024 Monthly Recap Layout

Catching up on my monthly recap layouts with this one for the month of October. It was a quiet month for us with not a lot of big activities but we did get to spend some nice quality family time. I used up some papers from a 4"x 6" retired Stampin' Up paper pad.

The inspiration for this layout came from this layout from Page Maps. You can see this sketch and others here.

The sketch was converted from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" and I modified the photo size and number of photos to work with the new layout size. The title was cut using my Cricut. I added some ribbon and enamel dots from my stash to embellish the layout. I did add some faux-stitching using a ruler and white gel pen.

Ship 'Til You Drop Layout

I always enjoy spending some one-on-one time with Meghan and Nicole. I was happy this month to be able to spend a day with each of them. Meg and I went to the Wrentham Outlets to do some shopping and Nicole and I went into Natick to visit Meghan ast work and then have a fun lunch out. I pulled some retired Stampin' Up DSP out of my stash for this layoutt.

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Page Maps. You can see this sketch along with others here.

I converted the sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" and modified the photo sizes to work with the new layout size. The title is made using letter stickers from my stash and I added some buttons from my stash as embellishments.

Walk on Water Layout

Mike and I had so much fun walking the Lake Williams Boardwalk last weekend. Even though it was very windy out on the water it was still a lot of fun. I used up my remaining stash of the Lake Life collection with this layout.

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Page Maps. You can see this sketch along with others here.

I converted the layout from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11". I also only used the left-hand side of the sketch. I changed the photo size and number of photos to work with the new layout size. The title was die cut using a set from my stash. The embellishments also came from my stash. I added faux-stitching on the circle elements using a marker and circle template.
