Finished up working on my holiday cards today with this card for my friends who celebrate Hanukkah. Had fun working with the Joyous Hanukkah stamp set that is part of the November/December catalog along with a retired embossing folder to create this.
The inspiration for this card came from this card sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketches. You can see this sketch along with others here.
I embossed a piece of White Daisy cardstock using the retired Stitched Circles embossing folder, then inked the edges using Sapphire Exclusive Ink and a dauber. I stamped on the Sapphire strip with the Sapphire ink to create a tone-on-tone pattern. I stamped the menorah image using Intense Black Exclusive Ink and then colored in using Triblend markers. I added some shimmer to the candle flames using Platinum Stickles.
