Silver Bells Gift Card Holder #2 and a Process Video

With this post I am sharing the 2nd Gift Card Holder from my Silver Bells Gift Card and Money Holder Workshop. I did this workshop during a recent Ready Set Crop weekend retreat. The workshop features the Silver Bells collection from Close To My Heart.

To make Gift Card holder #2 you will first need to score the Toffee 4" x 9 3/4" piece using the following diagram. Score along the 9 3/4" side at 3 1/4" and 6 1/2". Fold along the score lines with the 3 1/4" score being folded back and the 6 1/2" fold being folded forward.

Using a 1 1/4" punch, create a notch in the patterned paper to be used for the pocket. Placing a strong adhesive tape on the sides and bottom of the pocket cardstock adhere this to the bottom panel. Make sure to leave a little "give" when adhering the pocket so the gift card will be able to slide in and out. Adhere the stamped sentiment piece to the middle panel. 

Mat the next patterned piece on the Mink cardstock piece and adhere to the top panel. Add a piece of Zip Strip along with a bell stamped piece and sentiment block to embellish the top panel.

Mat the 5 1/4" x 4" patterned piece to the Charcoal piece. Using strong adhesive on the back of the bottom panel, adhere the fold out piece to the base.

I added some Platinum Stickles Glitter Glue to the stamped images to add a little bling to the holder.

This gift card holder works great for mailing a gift card as it fits perfectly inside a standard envelope. I do recommend using the "non-machinable" stamp when mailing this due to the thickness of the finished piece.
