Meghan and I spent a fun long weekend in New York City last weekend and I could hardly wait to start scrapbooking the layouts from this trip. We always have a great time when we go places together - she is definitely my travel-buddy!
The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Scrapbook.com. You can see this sketch along with others here.
I converted this sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" since I am working in this format for most of my projects now. I kept the photo size to what I think was the original size and modified the paper sizes for my base page size. This was a great stash busting layout since all of the papers and embellishments came from my stash. The title was die cut using the Block Alphabet Thin Cuts set and I added some faux-stitching behind it using a White Gel Pen.
