I am working on finishing up the layouts from our trip to Maine and am trying to stretch what I have left from the Cape Cod Collection as far as it will go. This layout from Monday's Scrapbook with me worked perfect for using up lots of smaller scraps of the paper in this collection!
The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Page Maps. You can see this sketch along with others here.
I converted this sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" to keep with the other layouts from this trip. I modified the photo sizes as well to work with the new layout size. The title was cut on my Cricut. I added an offset layer to it that I inked the edges of using Toffee Exclusive Inks and a dauber. I added some ribbon from my stash along with some of the die cuts and acrylic shapes from the Cape Cod collection. I had some extra pictures from Kennebunkport so I added a Flip Flap to hold these. I also added a faux-stitched border on the layout with a White Gel Pen and a ruler.
