Help! Layout

A fun and quick layout I did during last Wednesday's Scrapbook with me. I pulled out some scraps of the Four Seasons - Summer collection for this layout. I knew I wanted to scrapbook this event and the colors and patterns from this collection worked perfectly for this.

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Page Maps on the Lasting Memories Challenges Blog . You can see this sketch along with others here.

I converted the 12"x 12" sketch to 8 1/2" x 11" and then changed the orientation of the photos to work with what I had taken. The title was stamped with the Daisy Alphabet on a ticket stub I die cut with a set from my stash.  I did some faux-stitching with a ruler and White Gel Pens and then added some buttons and enamel dots from my stash to embellish the layout.

Congrats for the Graduate card

It's that time of year when graduation parties are happening all over and I knew I would need a quick card for a recent party we went to. I found inspiration for this card on Pinterest and knew I could make it from paper and stamps in my stash.

This was for a college graduation party for a friend and I used the colors from their university for the start of the card. I stamped the sentiment multiple times using Candy Apple Exclusive Ink. The graduation cap was stamped in Intense Black Exclusive Ink and then cut out. I added some shimmer to it using a Black Shimmer Brush before adhering it with 3-D Foam tape to the card.

For You Birthday Card

I am always looking for quick and easy cards to make and this birthday card I made recently fit the bill. I am continuing with my stash busting challenge with this card as I used some patterned papers and a stamp set for this card.

The inspiration for this card comes from this sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. You can see this sketch along with others here.

I pulled out my scraps of It's The Little Things paper for this along with the Cake Day Cardmaking Stamp set. The sentiment was die cut using the For You Thin Cuts set. I love this set and have used it for other cards as well as scrapbook layouts already. I added a little bit of shimmer to the balloons using the Clear Shimmer Brush.

April 2023 Monthly Recap Layout

Completed this Monthly Recap layout for April of 2023 during Monday's Scrapbook with me event. This event was a complete stash buster as I used up some papers, flowers and buttons from my stash to create this.

The inspiration for this layout comes from this sketch from Ally Scraps. You can see this sketch along with others here.

I converted the sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11" as well as changing it from a 1-page to 2-page layout. I used some Sarita collection papers for the layout along with some flowers and buttons from my stash to embellish. The title was cut on my Cricut with an SVG file and I added some paper to the back of the cut outline.

Mother's Day 2023 Layout

Continuing to catch up with my Scrapbook with me layouts with this one from Mother's Day this year. I had been using the Cosette collection for the cards and paper crafts I did for this year and wanted to continue to use it as well as use up my stash for a layout.

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Page Maps. You can see this sketch along with others here.

I changed the sketch from 12" x 12" to 8 1/2" x 11". In doing this I needed to change the background papers slightly since with the changed layout size that would mean the square created with the paper triangles would end up as a rectangle but I knew I wanted to keep it as a square. I also offset the photo mat to the right slightly to allow more space for the title. The title was die cut with an alphabet from my stash. The circles were either from the sticker sheet that came with the Cosette paper pack or punched from the Cosette Picture My Life Cards. I added some Cosette Die Cut shapes to embellish the layout.

March 2023 Monthly Recap Layout

Another layout in my series of Monthly Recap layouts. This one is from March of this year. I used up some of my April/May/June Mix-In papers for this layout. I love how this sketch worked and can see using it again for other layouts as it fits for many different themes.

I changed the layout to 8 1/2" x 11" from 12" x 12" and added some stamped images from a set in my stash. I colored in the flowers using ink and a water brush. The tags were die cut using the Tags & Tabs Thin Cuts set.

Back to School Layout

Catching up over the next couple of days with sharing recent layouts I did during some Scrapbook with me events. The first one I want to share is this one I did for when we brought Nicole back to her college campus in January after she took a year off medical leave. 

The inspiration for this layout came from this sketch from Scrapbook Challenges that I found on Pinterest.

I dug into my stash of the In Full Bloom collection for this layout and loved how perfect these colors and patterns work with the photos. I added some faux-stitching with a White Gel Pen to frame the main paper area and added a Flip Flap to hold the extra photos.
