My Honey

I had so much fun playing with the Sweet as Honey Collection from Close To My Heart to create this layout for a recent workshop I taught at a weekend scrapbook retreat. I used the Sweet as Honey Paper Pack and Coordinating Cardstock along with the Digital Art Collection to change up a layout format from Close To My Heart.

The base layout design comes from this layout from a Close To My Heart workshop. 

I wanted to change it up a bit so I incorporated digital cut shapes instead of stamped images in the layout.

I used various elements from different files in the Sweet as Honey Digital Art Collection to create the honeycomb background shapes, title, label, beehive and bee shapes. I cut these on my Cricut using the Coordinating Cardstock Pack. I love being able to work with the Digital Art Collection - you can easily take elements from multiple files to combine to create your own artwork with them.
