Ok. I know I said I had used up most of my Got Candy paper. Well, I didn't quite. I had just enough leftover to make this 2-page layout during one of my Scrapbook with me sessions. I love how this paper, even though definitely Halloween-themed worked well with a little more of a generic October layout.
For this layout we worked from the following sketch that I found through Pinterest as part of a CKC Blog Hop. I used this to continue with my Monthly Recap layouts I have started. I went back a bit in time to document October of 2019 - hard to believe that this was just a year ago.
You can see this sketch along with other variations of it here.
I continued to cut my titles and embellishments from my Cricut and keep the titles to the same format for each month of the year. I used Thin 3-D foam tape to raise up the title and stars to give some dimension and used some of the Got Candy sequins to give some sparkle.
I have really enjoyed working with the Got Candy collection. Remember, this collection is only available through October 31st so head on over to my website today to see all the elements of the collection and shop this collection.
If you are interested in attending one of my Scrapbook with me virtual events, make sure to head on over to my Facebook page to follow me so you will get notifications of my upcoming events.
I hope you liked the layout! Thanks for stopping by.
